Robert Rodat Rewriting ‘Thor 2′

Thor looks constipated in the above picture.

I don’t blame him. I lost count of how many writers and directors have come and gone from the troubled Thor sequel.

According to Deadline, Robert Rodat (“Saving Private Ryan”) is now the latest writer to join the project. He’s going to do rewrite work on Don Payne’s draft for director Alan Taylor.

Thor was my least favorite of the Marvel movies. To me it was all about Captain America last summer. By the looks of the footage in the last Avengers trailer, Thor and Cap go at. My money is Cap because although Thor is a God, Cap is a juice head and you always pick the guy on heavy blue anabolics in a scrap.

Anyway, Marvel is supposed to get the film rolling later this year for release next summer.

    I really hope it’s because Taylor is a comic book fan and get’s it.  Maybe the initial drafts were base on what’s her name’s storyline.

    Cap America was ok but highly overrated in my opinion. The first half was pretty good, the latter half verged on tedious.

    I thought it was boring, only the after credit ending sparked some thought.

    Agreed…i thought that Capt America was pretty boring….hope that they get another director for the sequel.
