Entertainment Weekly published a new photo from Timur Bekmambetov-directed “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.”
The scanned photo is of good ol’ Abe Lincoln (played by Benjamin Walker) with his axe, the weapon of choice to decapitate Confederate vampires.
The film stars Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Alan Tudyk, Rufus Sewell and Jimmi Simpson.
The story is based on the novel by Seth Graham-Smith. It is about the untold secrets of President Abraham Lincoln’s ongoing battle against the vampires after one murdered his mother.
The author also wrote the screenplay along with Simon Kinberg (“This Means War,” “Sherlock Holmes”).
Twentieth Century Fox will release the film in theaters on June 22.
