No F%^*&$ way!
The Merc with a Mouth may finally move forward with actor Ryan Reynolds attached to star.
According to Coventry Telegraph’s The Geek Files blog, the spin-off movie “Deadpool” is likely to go into production in 2012.
In several interviews, Reynolds is very passionate about having a Deadpool movie and his wish may come true. The last official news was director Tim Miller to helm the project last year.
Reynolds played Deadpool in the 2009’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” movie. The post-credit scene in DVD releases and some theatrical presentations showed Deadpool was still alive after being defeated by Wolverine.
And at a recent appearance at Arizona’s Comic-Con, “Deadpool” creator Rob Liefeld hinted that he viewed test footage for the “Deadpool” movie with the character in full costume with the trademarked katana swords and guns.
The blog site also revealed the sequel for “Wolverine” will also go into production in 2012.
Now only if they could also get “The Flash” movie into production too.
