First Look At Vin Diesel In ‘The Chronicles of Riddick Sequel’

Vin Diesel has released of set photo of himself as Riddick from the upcoming sequel to “The Chronicles of Riddick.”  The film also stars Katee Sackhoff, and Jordi Molla.

David Twohy wrote and is directing the Riddick sequel.

After being betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge.

    Um…Twohy wrote and directed the first Riddick film so i don’t see how this is supposed to inspire confidence in us.
    Twohy is a good screenwriter but not an accomplished director or one experienced with Big Budget “blockbusters”.
    He better have learned alot since Riddick because that was one of the worst films i have ever seen. Also He NEEDS to hire a good fight choreographer and action/stunt team. period. The action & fight scenes in Riddick were faked using a weird combination of slowmo, shakey cam, and camera tricks that were so unwatchable they made the fight scenes in Bourne Supremacy look like ONG BAK: the Muay Thai Warrior!
    Seriously, i hope Diesel and Twohy really know what they are doing since Riddick almost singlehandedly ruined Diesel’s career, especially after he publicly stated how much of the script he contributed to along with Twohy.

    I’m with AICN_Douche. I can get behind Vin in the same way I should be able to get behind Uwe Boll more. Because dude seems to be operating under the assumption that he has his own fans to support him. Which I guess he kind of does? I don’t know. If he really wants to make more Riddick this badly, who am I to not pay attention (jury’s still out on if I’ll be PAYing when the flick comes out)

    Because he also wrote and directed Pitch Black, and not everyone hates Chronicals of Riddick. No one hits it out of the park every time.

    the problem with the 2nd film, was, it tried so hard to be star wars, when the first one was so much alien. It was way to much of a departure and left me kinda feeling disconnected from the world established in the first film.

    The first films world seemed real. Those people trapped on that world, felt real and the setting felt possable. the 2nd film, felt like it was a totally diffrent universe.  Its one thing to expand the universe of a franchise, but they did way to much of it, and all of a sudden this nice little alien like horror sci fi film because this want to be star wars knock off, and riddick was made into this way over important character with this contrived backstory, when the first film he was just a bad ass criminal!
