UPDATE More Promo Pics for The Expendables 2

UPDATE: The promo pic below are not from The Expendables 2, they are from Universal Soldier 4.

Scroll down to see a few more promo photos from the upcoming action extravaganza The Expendables 2. The first pic is of Jean-Claude van Damme, the second is Dolph Lundgren and the third is Scott Adkins. His pic is the best. In it he’s covered in blood and holding a machete. Its a very non-PG-13 pic if you ask me.

I still have trouble believing this will be PG-13. The question I have is, did Simon West shoot it as a PG-13, or is it being edited down to that rating? If it was shot as an R then there’s still hope Stallone and the other producers will come to their senses, or at least we’ll possibly get an unrated Blu-ray release. If it was shot for PG-13, then we’re screwed.

Oh well, either way, The Expendables 2 comes to theatres August 17.

One last thought, does anyone really believe Chuck Norris is the reason for the rating? I mean, if the dude is that concerned about glorifying violence then why even sign on for the film? Whether its gory or not, his character will still probably be killing people.

    This from the R rated Universel Soldier 4. Not the PG-13 kiddie fest Expendables 2. Is the buzz on this so bad that they have to pretend that photos for other movies are from Expendables 2? BWA! HA! HA! HA! That’s hilarious.

    Also, Phillip Sticco, the ratings are made in the editing room, so they have time to add in blood and violence like they did in EX1. We only got great scenes like, Dolph’s “Warning Shot!” because Sly added it in later. There is still hope if the studio will look at the reaction the movie is getting all over the world! Everybody is saying R rated or nothing!!!
