Six New Pics From ‘Cogan’s Trade’

Scroll down for six new pics from the upcoming Cogan’s Trade.

Here’s the synopsis:

“Jackie Cogan is an enforcer for the New England mob. When a high-stakes card game is heisted by unknown hoodlums, Cogan is called in to ‘handle’ the problem. Moving expertly and ruthlessly among a variety of criminal hacks, hangers-on, and bigger-time crooks, Cogan gets to the root of the problem and, with five consecutive shots from a Smith & Wesson thirty-eight Police Special, restores order to his corner of the Boston underworld.”

In one of the pics below we see Mr. Liotto (I show respect by calling him “Mr” because I’m pretty sure he can kick my ass) sitting at a card game with some other people. Could this be the high-stakes card game mentioned above?

Also included are shots of Brad Pitt as Cogan, James Gandolfini and another of Pitt and Richard Jenkins.

Cogan’s Trade is based on the 1974 novel by George V. Higgins. It was written for the screen and directed by Andrew Dominick.

How do you feel about Pitt’s acting ability? The only films I’ve liked him in are the Ocean’s trilogy, Mr and Mrs Smith and Twelve Monkeys. I thought he was good in Se7en up until the “What’s in the box?” scene at the end. I’m sure it will crush him when he reads this, but I never liked how he delivered that line.

Excited for this…. Pitt may not be the “best” actors ever by certain standards but is one of the best a choosing films. This puts him into icon status in my opinion. Most of his movies are entertaining… And it’s about Boston.
