‘Fast Six’ and ‘Seven’ Will Not Be Shot Back-to-Back

MTV interviewed Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently and asked about Fast Six and Seven. You can see the video below.

When asked if the two films were shooting back to back, Mr The Rock said, no. They had thought about it, but decided not to do it. He also said they will be shooting in the UK and Germany this time around.

Were you hoping the films would be shot back-to-back? Personally I like it batter this way. They’ve been keeping two years between releases and have only seen the box office receipts rise. Two years is a good amount of time between sequels. Sure, I’d like the next Fast film to come out tomorrow, but with the time in between my anticipation builds and it makes watching it all the better because I had to wait.

Look for Fast Six (or whatever they decide to call it) to hit theatres May 24, 2013.
