Rodrigo Santoro Is Back As Xerxes In ’300′ Sequel

300: Battle of Artemisia starts shooting this summer, so if you’re planning on buying stock in green screens do it now. So far Eva Green, Sullivan Stapleton and Jamie Blackley are all signed on. Now, we have a returning cast member.
300 bad guy Rodrigo Santoro is returning for the… Is it a prequel or a sequel? I hear it’s actually more of a parallel story, how the hell do we classify it? I have a headache…
At any rate, Santoro will once again be playing Xerxes.
His first stop is back to the mall to hit Piercing Pagoda, then over to Orange Julius. Who can resist those? When asked why he decided to take the role, Santoro replied, “For the flippin’ paycheck, why else?” Just an FYI, I may have made some (meaning all) of that up. Not the thing about Santoro playing Xerxes again, that party’s true. I swear.
So, are you looking forward to this? I decided to revisit 300 again the other day only to find out my DVD doesn’t play. Oh well, now I have an excuse the get the Blu-ray.
