WonderCon 2012 Roundtable Interview: Cast and Crew Talk about ‘Fringe’ TV Show

“Fringe” cast and crew were on location to promote “Fringe” television show at the WonderCon 2012 last weekend.

Latino-Review had the opportunity to participate in the roundtable interview with a few other reporters with actors Joshua Jackson, John Noble, Seth Gabel, Blair Brown, and the executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman.

Although the cast and crew can’t really reveal anything about the future the show, the conversations were nonetheless interesting for “Fringe” fans.

Various topics discussed by them included the mood on the set, interactions with each other, and even comic books. But, for juicy details on where the “Fringe” plot storyline is going—check out the interview with the executive producers.

“Fringe” is an American science fiction television series created by J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurztman and Roberto Orci. It follows the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s “Fringe Division” team that uses unorthodox “fringe” science to explain a series of mysterious events.

Interview with Executive Producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman

Joel Howard Wyman is the executive producer, writer, director and co-showrunner for “Fringe” television show. He joined the freshman season of the show as a writer and co-executive producer. He has contributed to more than 20 episodes on “Fringe.”

Jeff Pinkner began developing “Fringe” since its first season and now serves as a writer, executive producer and co-showrunner. He has contributed to more than 20 episodes for the show.

Interview with actor Joshua Jackson

Joshua Jackson plays Peter Bishop, a jack-of-all trades who was brought in as a civilian consultant by Olivia Dunham to work with his estranged father, Walter Bishop. Peter is actually Walternate’s son from the parallel universe, abducted by Walter shortly after his own Peter’s death at a young age.

Interview with actor John Noble

John Noble plays Doctor Walter Bishop since season one. He is a former government researcher in the field of fringe science who was seen as a mad scientist and institutionalized after a lab accident in which his assistant was killed. He also acts as the parallel universe’s Walter named “Walternate” by the characters in the prime universe.

Actress Blair Brown plays Nina Sharp since the first season. She is the COO of Massive Dynamic, a company devoted to science and technology research. She is also a longtime friend to Walter Bishop and William Bell.
