James Bond’s girlfriend in Skyfall has been cast. Greek actress Tonia Sotiropoulou has won the part. You can see a pic of her below. She confirmed it via this Facebook status update:
“Dear friends I officially announce I got a part in J. Bond new film!!! Turkey here I come! Thank u all for you love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life bitches!”
Wow, she really likes the exclamation points!
Sotiropoulou originally auditioned for the major role of Sévérine, but lost out to French actress Bérénice Marlohe. Director Sam Mendes asked her to audition for another role, that of Bonds lady, and cast her. She will film her scenes in Turkey over about five days.
So what do you think? Is she a good pick for Bond’s main girl?
Skyfall hits theatres November 9th.
