Gemma Arterton is in talks to join the cast of the film inspired by the Japanese film 2LDK, which tells the story of two actresses living together and pretending to be best friends who also co-star in a popular television show. The twist is that in real life they can’t stand each other. No word on who will play the other girl, but Andy Flickman is probably going to direct.

Grown Ups 2
Why in god’s name are they making a sequel to Grown Ups? Yes, it was a hit, but no, it was not good at all. I watched it for forty-five minutes, turned it off and never cared enough to turn it back on. Oh well… David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place) has been cast in the sequel. He will join master thespian Taylor Lautner as a frat dude who runs afoul of Adam Sandler, Keven James, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Chris Rock. I’m going to go out on a limb and say there will probably be some more SNL alumni joining the cast at some point as well.

Saving Mr. Banks
Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson have joined the cast of the film as Walt Disney and P.L. Travers, author of Mary Poppins. The movie will tell the story of Disney’s fourteen year courtship to purchase the rights for a film version of Poppins. Sounds grea… Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
