‘Need For Speed’ Is Racing Into Theatres

The Fast and the Furious franchise has mad a lot of money for Universal and the other studios want to capitalize on that. So, instead of just creating something original, Warner Brothers, Sony and Paramount are fighting over who will get to make Need for Speed. Right now it looks like Paramount is going to win the day with a low seven figure deal.

EA has tapped George and John Gatins (Real Steel) to write the script, with John producing alongside EA.

They already have a NFS film…its called Fast and Furious.

Typical EA try to milk more money out of a tired franchise. Im sure they will charge fees for the 3d glasses and an extra fee for the enidng.
