‘Iron Man 3′ Nabs Guy Pearce

Guy Pearce is in final negotiations to play Aldrich Killian in Iron Man 3. Killian is a geneticist who co-develops the Extremist technology and sells it to terrorists. Iron Man adopts it as well. The film will borrow heavily from the Iron Man: Extremis books written by Warren Ellis.

Robert Downey Jr. returns as Iron Man/Tony Stark with Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Don Cheadle (James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine) and Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanov/Black Widow) all once again appearing. Ben Kingsley has also been cast as the villain.
Shane Black (Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang) is writing and directing this time around.

    Marvel, kicking ass and taking names with great casting in their movies, as usual.

    Kingsley, Cheadle, Pearce, Paltrow and of course Downey….

    Solid cast.I wouldn’t be surprised one of these day if they manage to cast a De Niro or a  Denzel or even a Meryl Streep in one of your upcoming sequels or new features..

    they will…..Marvel alone has generated over a billion dollars in ticket sales within the last 5 years.  They’re the biggest money making production company in Hollywood now.
