Jessica Chastain Up For A Gig In ‘Iron Man 3′

So earlier tonight, Deadline broke the story that Jessica Chastain is up for a role in Iron Man 3. Now because we told you that the sequel is borrowing from the Extremis storyline, it is obvious that Jessica is up for the role of Dr. Maya Hansen. Dr. Hansen is actually the scientist who developed Extremis in an attempt to create a new super soldier. Sounds like my kind of gal, although my heart only has room for one red head (Christina Hendricks…fyi).

I do think Dr. Hansen is going to steal Pepper’s man! Homegirl better look out! Catfight!

Set for release on May 3, 2013, the sequel starts shooting next month in North Carolina.
