As “The Avengers” are assembling all over the world, one of the members of The Avengers managed to make his way to Las Vegas’ CinemaCon 2012 last week.
The two-time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner was present on the last day of CinemaCon to receive the “CinemaCon Male Star of the Year” award from the convention of movie theater owners. The actor took some time before the award ceremony to speak with the press, in which Latino-Review was present at the press conference.
Renner will star in two movies this summer including Joss Whedon-directed comic book movie “The Avengers,” in which he plays Hawkeye on May 4th. And then on August 3rd, Renner will star in Universal Pictures’ “The Bourne Legacy” as another agent on the run in relation with the “Bourne” series.
Renner’s other career films included “The Hurt Locker,” “The Town,” “Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol” and “28 Weeks Later.”
The actor discussed several of his films including the upcoming “The Bourne Legacy” and possibly producing a Steve McQueen movie and a spin-off “Hawkeye” movie.
