Pop Star Rihanna To Play A Villain In ‘Fast Six’

Pop star Rihanna is making her acting debut in this summer’s Battleship and apparently Universal is so impressed that they want her in Fast and Furious 6 or Fast Six… Does anyone know what they’re calling it at this point?

Rihanna’s character will be a villain in the film. Here’s what an unnamed source told the Daily Mail:

‘Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship.

‘Writers think she’ll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn’t take any prisoners — just like her in real life.

It’s a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles.’

I guess we can reserve a slot at in the Best Supporting Actress category for Rihanna come awards season, right?

Does this news make you want to see Fast Six more? Less? Do you even care?

Personally, Rihanna’s involvement doesn’t sway me one way or the other. I just want to see a fun, action packed flick featuring the characters I’ve gotten to know over the previous five films.

    She actually did good in Battleship. If she stuck to acting…she could become a serious contender for one of the many awards out there. I was surprised at her performance in Battleship ( yes…saw it on bootleg) And for the bigot that says she is a thug getting roles…go to hell !!!
