Out of the Furnace
Woody Harrelson, who you can currently see in the box office smash The Hunger Games, is in talks to play the villain in the revenge pic. If cast he will play Curtis DeGroat and face off against Christian Bale, who is out for vengeance.
Gemma Arterton is in talks to join the cast of the film inspired by the Japanese film 2LDK, which tells the story of two actresses living together and pretending to be best friends who also co-star in a popular television show. The twist is that in real life they can’t stand each other. No word on who will play the other girl, but Andy Flickman is probably going to direct.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters
Wow, that is one long title. Anyway, Leven Rambin, who played Glimmer in The Hunger Games, has signed on to star in the sequel opposite Logan Lerman as Percy. Rambin will play Clarisse. She is the daughter of Ares, the God of War and is described as being “skilled in battle and a perfectionist.
Grown Ups 2
Why in god’s name are they making a sequel to Grown Ups? Yes, it was a hit, but no, it was not good at all. I watched it for forty-five minutes, turned it off and never cared enough to turn it back on. Oh well… David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place) has been cast in the sequel. He will join master thespian Taylor Lautner as a frat dude who runs afoul of Adam Sandler, Keven James, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Chris Rock. I’m going to go out on a limb and say there will probably be some more SNL alumni joining the cast at some point as well.
Saving Mr. Banks
Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson have joined the cast of the film as Walt Disney and P.L. Travers, author of Mary Poppins. The movie will tell the story of Disney’s fourteen year courtship to purchase the rights for a film version of Poppins. Sounds grea… Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
We’re the Millers
Jennifer Aniston is considering taking a part in the film about a pot dealer (Jason Sudeikis) who convinces Aniston’s character (a hooker) and two children (juvenile dilinquents) to pose as his family on vacation in their RV. This will enable him to smuggle 1000 pounds of weed across the country. The raunchy comedy is directed by Rawson Thurber (Dodgeball) from a script by Bob Fisher and Steve Faber (Wedding Crashers).
