Hammer announced today that Sam Claflin (Snow White and the Huntsman) has signed on for The Quiet Ones. He will play Bryan McNeil in the film.

Inspired by true events, THE QUIET ONES tells the story of an unorthodox, but charismatic Professor (Jared Harris) who uses controversial methods and leads his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment:  to create a poltergeist from negative human energy.

The Quiet Ones will be directed by John Poque, from a script by Tom DeVille, Craig Rosenberg, Oren Moverman and Pogue. Shooting is expected to start this June in the UK.
