New International Trailer For ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

Marvel Australia has released a new trailer for the upcoming comic book film “The Amazing Spider-Man.”

Have a look the the new International trailer below, which features SOME new footage from the film.

The fim is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary, and Campbell Scott.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” hits 2D/3D theaters on July 3, 2012.

I want to like it…and then I’ll see something that’ll put me off. I think it’s a combination of Garfield and the key-frame editing in the trailers. I’ll probably see it, but it’s not a priority.

Put it like this, I’ve watched only two of the Prometheus trailers as I’m so determined to see it as spoiler-free as possible – I’m reeeeally hyped for it, it looks EPIC…yet with Spidey, it’s just got this “TV show production value” vibe about it that say’s to me it’s just nothing I haven’t seen before. Like Smallville with an increased budget, Do you know what I mean?

    Film-fans…so hard to please ;)

Same here! Hopefully all the cool stuff hasn’t been leaked in the trailers.
If the rest of the movie is all boring gap filler major fail!
Kinda feel like i’ve watched the movie already!

I couldn’t be less interested in this movie… even if JJ Abrams had teamed up with Michael Bay to bring the most explosive lens flares in the history of cinema to the project.

This just feels like a movie that was created in a conference room full of corporate statisticians based on focus group feedback… it’s going to have all the parts they think are necessary to create a ‘blockbuster’ movie… but will have all the soul and craftsmanship of a McDonalds cheeseburger.

I have no doubt that this will make a nice profit for Columbia, but I think I’ll wait for Netflix… if at all.  There are just too many entertainment options now-a-days to waste my time on mediocre fare like this.
