Capcom introduced the next installment of their popular “Resident Evil” series during the Microsoft press conference at E3.
“Resident Evil 6” features three different scenarios and connected storylines with different characters.
The first storyline is about Leon S. Kennedy and his new partner Helena Harper must face U.S. President Adam Benford after a bioterrorist attack. In the Eastern European state of Edonia storyline, Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin must flee from authorities during a bioterrorist attack. And finally, the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance Captain (B.S.A.A.) captain Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans arrive in the Chinese city of Lanshiang under the threat of a bioterrorist attack.
The video game will be in single-player and multiplayer cooperative modes.
Producer Hiroyuki Koboyashi introduced “Resident Evil 6” to the audience.
“Resident Evil 6” will be available for Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 on October 2nd.
