Nathan Drake isn’t returning to the video game console anytime soon. So you’ll probably will have to wait to see him in the upcoming live-action adaptation of “Uncharted.” (If it’s still happening.)

For now, Naughty Dog announced a new original survival video game called “The Last of Us.”

The campaign game is a third-person single-player adventure game in a post-apocalyptic setting. It is about a survivor Joel traveling with a 14-year-old girl Ellie in a world that many humans was infected by a virus.

The game is exclusive for the PlayStation 3 and to be released in late 2012 or early 2013.
