EXCLUSIVE: They’re Remaking The AIP Library & You Will Never Guess WHO Is Directing The First Film!

Yo!

So yesterday in doing my rounds and discussing the whole Black Panther episode with sources, I was let in on something very interesting.

I discovered they are relaunching the American International Pictures label (AIP). For those of you not in the know, AIP made all those low budget drive in films geared towards teenagers in the 1950s. Roger Corman got his start at AIP which would later distribute his science fiction and horror films in the 1960s.

So there is a script floating around the agencies actively casting written by Bernard M. Lee called Girls In Prison which is remake of the 1956 film. Here is the original poster.

Who is Bernard M. Lee?

For those savy fanboys, Bernard Lee played M in the James Bond films from back in the day so it is obviously a pseudonym. But for who?

None other than former New Line/Fox studio executive, producer, webmaster, and comic book author Jeff Katz!

Yep! Jeff Katz!

I was wondering what Jeff was up to since he went on a twitter hiatus almost two months ago. Now that the cat is out of the bag, I expect we will be hearing from @KatzMoney shortly.

Hasta el proximo capitulo boys and girls…
