‘Man Of Steel’ Costumes Are on Display

Coming Soon posted some pics from the 2012 Licensing Expo. A lot of them were some suits from Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot Man of Steel, which you can see below.

The pics are all of super (?) suits. The first few are familiar. They’re Superman’s suit, as seen on Henry Cavill in the pic above.

 

 

These appear to have the familair “S”, but in an alien design. So I’ll say it’s Jor-El’s.

Also, take a look at the cuffs. Is that Superman’s suit peeking through? Is this actually some type of Kryptonian cloak or robe?

 

 

The other suits…

Any ideas?

I would say they are for General Zod, but isn’t his going to be digitally rendered? Also, as commenter rabbit143 pointed out ever so subtly, this costume has boobs, so it’s most likely Ursula’s.

    Agreed, we need some footage.  THe suit ois ok…how much different can they actually make it and not stray far from what we associate with superman.  So far, it has potential.

    Somebody get these pictures to Marvel’s costume designer.  At least they could do is try to copy this for Captain America’s shirt to mimic chain mail.
