Who Does David Slade Want As Daredevil?

Bleeding Cool picked up on a tweet from 30 Days of Night director David Slade concerning his Daredevil reboot.

Slade was on Twitter talking to fans, when he had this exchange about Daredevil:

 

Which part of Teresa’s tweet is Slade referring to? Does he want to get back to working on Daredevil soon, or does he want Harnett for Matt Murdock? Or is it both? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

What do you think of Harnett as Murdock? Yay or nay?

    Josh Hartnett is a good actor, but I do not think he can carry a movie like Daredevil. They will need an actor who will do what Robert Downey Jr. did with Iron Man.

    Hartnett seems to have been out of the limelight for a while now. They could probably just cast an unknown and achieve the same draw.

    David Slade worked with Josh on 30 days of night, and Jpsh pulled out a pretty good performance there so I think he has the chops to pull it off.

    Fair enough. He was good in 30 Days of Night. Now that you mention that movie, maybe you have a good point. Just as long as it’s someone who is more loose than Affleck. I liked that Ben Affleck busted his ass for the role, but he’s still just like a board. They need someone with a more flexible body who can bend and twist more believably.

    I think Harnett works as Murdock. However, the film itself will ONLY be worthy if they do Frank Miller’s The Man Without Fear. Otherwise, may as well get Affleck back in the suit…
