I told you a few days ago that Sony was planning an Amazing Spider-Man Week in NYC as build up to the big release on July 3rd. Now, we have info, direct from Sony, on an appearance by Dr. Curt Connors himself, Rhys Ifan.

RHYS IFANS TO KICK OFF SPIDER-MAN WEEK IN NYC WITH AN APPEARANCE AND SIGNING AT FORBIDDEN PLANET ON

MONDAY, JUNE 25

 WHO:             Rhys Ifans, who plays Dr. Connors and his alter-ego, The Lizard, in the new film, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

WHAT:             Rhys Ifans will help kick off Spider-Man Week in NYC with an appearance and signing at Forbidden Planet, New York’s legendary comic book store.
