Josh Hartnett Ruled Out as ‘Daredevil’ for Now

Did you seriously believe every Tweet on the Internet?

Earlier this week, several web sites misinterpreted “Daredevil” reboot director David Slade’s Tweet as implying that he wanted actor Josh Hartnett as the Daredevil.

A fan tweeted to the director by saying, “I hope @DAVID_A_SLADE gets back to the Daredevil stuff soon, & I hope, maybe, Josh Hartnett could finally get a Marvel role..

Slade replied, “You and me both.”

With Slade’s comment, rumors were rampant that Harnett was the next Daredevil.

However, Slade clarified that “Daredevil” is only in its writing stages and there is no casting considerations at this time. He did completely rule out Hartnett, but mentioned that he was “an excellent and underrated actor and a wonderful human being.”

In addition, Slade also mentioned that he is “firmly against” filming the movie in 3D.

Daredevils pretty boring. didnt mind the last film, but i dont see much more to the character.
interesting that Spiderman was only created as a Daredevil villain but proved more popular.
