Who’s Buying All The ‘Ant Man’ Comics And Why?

Bleeding Cool got a tip from London that some studio people have been visiting Gosh Comics in central London and asking for Ant Man comic books. They’re looking for everything they can find, regardless of condition. Ordinarily this really wouldn’t be news, but Gosh is located down the street from major production offices in London.

When asked if these comics were research material for the Ant Man movie being written by Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish, they “jump back, spooked, asking how they could possibly know…”

Another interesting bit is today, on their fourth shopping trip, the elusive studio people asked specifically for comics featuring the “echo time locator” from “the old series”.

What do you think of this? Is this the direction you want an Ant Man movie to go in? Also, what the hell is an “echo time locator”?

I heard that Pixar was interested in it almost immediately after Disney Acquired Marvel.

I know Marvel wants to make some $$$ and they don’t have the rights to some its larger Properties (X-men,Spider-man & Fantastic Four) but Ant-man really? It would have better off having him in Avengers so at least you could tell if ppl cared to see him in a movie? Focus on Black Panther, Iron Fist & Luke Cage, Dead Pool and or Moon Knight…lol. Damn just make a Mighty Mouse flick Pixar….
