A New Trailer For ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Before ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’?

There’s another new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, at least according to the Alberta Films Ratings site. I haven’t seen it yet, but it’s most likely going to be attached to The Amazing Spider-Man next week.

What can I say about The Dark Knight Rises that I haven’t already said? It’s a given that I’m going to see it, as, I assume, are all of you. It’s probably going to be one of, if not the, best films of the summer/year. So… here’s the synopsis (again):

The upcoming anticipated film is set eight years after Batman took the fall for Two Face’s crimes, a new terrorist leader, Bane overwhelms Gotham’s finest. Batman feels compelled to intervene to assist the city and its police force, which is struggling to cope with Bane’s plans to destroy the city.

With a new TDKR trailer attached and possibly new footage, does this give you more of a reason to see The Amazing Spider-Man?

The Dark Knight Rises hits theatres July 20th.

The Amazing Spider-Man swings into theatres July 3rd.

No I am not wasting my money, especially since I will have to buy ear plugs to protect my ears when Peter takes his shirt of.

I will see the trailer online the day after release…for free and my ears will thank me.

And teenage girls are not intelligent enough to care about Batman unless Bale is shirtless.

i squeal like a pre-teen bieber fanatic every time bale takes it off! seriously though, why do you hate this spidey movie so much already. sure, i’m not gonna pay full price whe i see it, since a pretty flawed 1 for 3 is a terrible track record for these movies, but if it’s good i’ll see it again. i mean, if you just don’t like spider-man, i get that. but the trailers look far from terrible.

Am all set wit spidy, although it makes sense of why they would do that

  • myclawismypenis

i understand both sides…some days I really cant stand this new spidy. some days, its fine. I find the CG already irritating…i dont know why they didnt use both CG and real effects for the lizard…how hard could it have been. The water scenes that I have seen on the TV has me a little irritated because it looks shitty to me.

  • A_Wise_Man

Because it would take to long and that new star will rake in the cash so why spend more time on it?

  • A_Wise_Man

I love Spider Man its one of my childhood favorites, but this new one wreaks of twihard love crowd.

  • myclawismypenis

Does seem a little rushed. Anyway, it seems that I will be going to see it because thats what happens when you have a big family with kids that love spidy…cant get them to go see Prometheus..Sh*t, I may go this afternoon..sneak out and get my PRometheus on.

  • rsixsmith

fair enough, but i don’t see it. i feel like all of the previous installments are irritatingly emo. this could well be the same i guess. plus, i was the big defender of green lantern last year, and look how that turned out. for the record, i’d never put myself or someone i love through a twilight movie.

  • rsixsmith

i know what you mean, and i can definitely see the effects flaws in the trailers. the flaming car is pretty awfully rendered. but a good story always trumps effects for me.

  • A_Wise_Man

Go and see it NOW. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t.

  • Philip Sticco

Definitely see Prometheus. It’s a rare thought provoking summer event film.
