I recently told you that Sucker Punch‘s Jena Malone was up for the role of Johanna Mason in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. For those who don’t remember, Johanna is a ruthless, murderous, deceptive and naked past winner of The Hunger Games who has a pivotal role in Catching Fire and the third book in the series Mocking Jay.

Malone screen tested for the part, but so did Zoe Aggeliki. Now, Deadline is reporting that director Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend), is leaning toward Aggeliki.

Whoever eds up with the part will have quite a career boost.

I say Lawrence holds a steel cage match to the death, with the winner getting the part. It seems in line with the theme of the film, no?
