Are you properly prepared for that upcoming zombie apocalypse? Now you can test your athletic skills and endurance in a zombie escape.
The three-day “The Walking Dead” zombie escape event will take place at San Diego’s Petco Park during the San Diego Comic-Con International convention from July 12-14.
There will be several sessions of the obstacle run and participants can buy tickets to be a walker, a survivor or even a spectator. The survivor will try to navigate for the exit by crawling, climbing, hiding and even sliding towards safe haven.
Here is a brief overview of the project:
The course has been specifically designed for participants with a wide range of abilities.
The world we know is about to end. An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions will sweep the globe causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. The only way to survive is to buy an Evac Pass, track the virus and get out before it is too late.
In a matter of months society will crumble and San Diego will be first of many cities to fall. Only a few will escape. Some won’t even try.
The tickets to be a survivor starts at $80 and to be a zombie walker range from $19 to $145. But, to be a spectator to watch is just merely $15.
All survivors and walkers will receive an exclusive special edition of the 100th issue of “The Walking Dead,” which will be in comic book stores on July 11th. Spectators will receive a special poster for the issue.

Never seen a zombie run before? Check out a video below (not organized by the same people though and probably less intense).
