James Cameron Will Make As Many ‘Avatar’ Movies As He Wants!

Sigourney Weaver was talking about some new show she’s on called Political Animals, but who cares about that? She mentioned Avatar while pimping the political crap, and that’s all we really care about, right?

Weaver said she will begin shooting Avatar 2, 3 and 4 this fall…

Wait, what?

Three Avatar sequels all filming at once?!

That’s what Weaver is saying, but there’s no confirmation from Cameron yet. So, who knows?

According to Weaver she will appear in all three sequels despite her character having died in the first film. What will she be doing in the sequels? Per Weaver, “I just show up.”

It seems Cameron wasn’t kidding when he said he just wanted to make films about Pandora for the foreseeable future.

What do you think? Was the paper thin plot of the first Avatar enough to build off of for three sequels?

I suggest you be careful what you say about the plot, you risk getting jumped by some angry avatards in the nearest back alley.

The fans cant get enough by the looks of it since FX airs that load every other night.
But sigurney that one slip did she? Figures she on another politcrap show. Avatards like milk! And saving the forest and cute animalz from teh big bad gunz! Again and Again…and wait for it… AGAIN!

So I guess this means we will be getting another extended/director’s cut version of the first Avatar in the near future. Not that I care, cause let’s addmit it, the shorter the better for this boring film.

James Cameron hasn’t made a watchable film since True Lies. If the Lemmings want to fill his coffers by watching AvaTARD sequels more power to them. I’ll be in the theatre across the way watching something inevitably better than Futurist-Pochahontas schlock.

Sure there’s more there for sequels. The plot was thin, but solid. The worldbuilding is what’s important here, and he left a lot of room for more stories.

I doubt it, especially since Weaver character was DEAD. But somehow she is back….so imaginative. Maybe the big father tree had a change of heart and used his magical tree powers to bring her back.

  • Storymark

Right, one choice you don’t like, even though it was set up in the original, means there’s no more stories to tell. Nevermind, Ive seen enough of your posts here to expect anything like resaonable conversation. You’re just here to bitch.

    Hmmm someone has some issues.

I guess we won’t be seeing Battle Angel Alita until 2030 :/

THats what i was wondering about.

  • A_Wise_Man

Im guessing you made an account just to say that since it has no record. The internet is overrun with rabid girls scouring for info on the sequels for this rubbish. Back to the kitchen.

CORRECTION: “Avatards” are the fans of the animated series “The Last Airbender.” Fans of Jimbo C’s blockbuster mega money machine are called “retards.”

So i guess one 3 hour long movie was neither indulgent or boring enough for this property.

I own the 3 disc Blu-ray of the movie and i only watched it once. I watched Green Lantern more times than Avatar. Think about that.

  • A_Wise_Man

no Since both are called avatar it could go both ways, and the last airbender series is pretty cool it actually has a plot to some degree.

This is the best thing I’ve read. Too funny.
