Wow.
So Neill Blomkamp’s (District 9) next sci-fi film is about a whole bunch of rich people who live on a space station and they try to keep all the poor, normal people of Earth from “immigrating” to the space station where – presumably – the Earth people will take all the jobs.
Ok, that last part is something I tacked in there. ‘District 9′ wasn’t subtle with it’s social criticism and I’m guessing ‘Elyisum’ won’t be either. We’re going to see some more of it from Sony at Comic Con next week, and that will hopefully contextualize how crazy Matt Damon looks here, and maybe someone will tell me what ChemRail is.
‘Elyisum’ opens March 1st next year and also features Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley.
