‘Life of Pi’ Trailer

The trailer for Ang Lee’s adaptation of Yann Martel’s bestselling novel “Life of Pi” is now online.

The film which is due out to hit theaters November 21st stars Tobey Maguire, Suraj Sharma, Irffan Khan, Gerard Depardieu, and Adil Hussain.

Director Ang Lee (“Brokeback Mountain,” “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”) creates a groundbreaking movie event about a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While marooned on a lifeboat, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship’s only other survivor — a fearsome Bengal tiger.

The trailer looks beautiful but it also reminds me of “The Black Stallion” which is good too. Have a look for yourself and let us know what you think.

Looks interesting, saw the book the other day, but figured the movie will be quicker. But looks like an interesting predicament. Shame they showed the guy hugging the Tiger, now we know how it all turns out. Hope theres a twist and the Tiger savages him.
