Joe Taslim of ‘The Raid’ Joins ‘Fast Six’

Is this the title Universal is going with? Fast Six? It some how seems worse that Fast Five, at least that title had alliteration going for it. Not that it matters, if bad titles kept me out of a movie theatre I’d never go.

At any rate…

Joe Taslim, best know is these parts as Jaka in The Raid, has signed on for Fast Six. He will play Jah, “a cold-blooded killer who uses his martial arts and parkour skills to fight the pic’s protags, led by Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.”

Justin Lin is directing again from a script by Chris Morgan, who wrote or co-wrote all of the previous installments.

Fast Six hits theatres May 24, 2013.
