Vanessa Hudgens Joins ‘Machete Kills’

“The cast of Machete Kills looks cool and all, but I wish it had at least one High School Musical alum.”

Well, fret not, you’re wish has been granted.

Vanessa Hudgens has joined the cast of Machete Kills!

Here’s the official announcement on her blog, or website, or whatever the hell it is:

Yes, it is true! We can confirm that Vanessa will be in the new Robert Rodriguez movie

Hudgens will join Sofia Vergara, Alexa Vega, Amber Heard, Jessica Alba, Lady Gaga and Michelle Rodriguez. I think there are some dudes in this flick too, but who the hell cares?

Okay, here are the dudes.

Danny Trejo is back as Machete and Mel Gibson is the bad guy. There’s also Carlie S, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Edward James Olmos.

It would appear Rodriguez has delivered on his promise of an eclectic cast.
