Dang. I was hoping for ‘X-Men: Business Class.’
Please visit XMenDaysOfFuturePast.com ? I still own it. What should I put up there now?
Here’s the video where Bryan Singer, producer of X-Franchises and director of the first two, confirming that Matthew Vaughn’s follow up to ‘X-Men: First Class’ will be called ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past.’
- It’s being written right now
- Will start shooting in a few months
- is called “Days of Future Past” but melds other stories with that comic
- The X-men Universe is as big as the Marvel Universe and they want to expand theirs
- DoFP has the possibility of intersecting with other X-Franchise movies.
I, for one, am totally excited that they (purposefully) haven’t mentioned that Wolverine is started up in Australia, but they’re doing Days of Future Past, which is one of the many deaths of Wolverine, plus they kind of screwed themselves by putting Hugh Jackman in ‘First Class.’
Intersecting with other films in the franchise means we might get access to some of the characters we haven’t seen in a few years as their counter-part versions from an alternate, darker future. Say a future where Rouge was strapped to the Statue of Liberty, slowly starting a chain of events that end with a “Mutant Cure” and a completely wasted Dark Phoenix.
Yeah, Days of Future Past will allow them to do that. As we’ve seen, they’ve been unable to make an X-movie without the characters of Wolverine and Professor Xavier. Considering James McAvoy will be back for the latter and Wolverine (also by Fox) is up in Australia already while XMenDaysOfFuturePast.com is booting up: Wolverine will be in this movie.
The stars are aligning, my non-Marvel Studios Marvel Properties. Let’s lock down Marc Webb for more Spider-Man and confirm that Rebecca Romijn will come back so Jessica Lawrence can meet her future self…also, can you tell me what ‘Fantastic Four’ will be about? K, thnx.
