There’s a new featurette for Resident Evil: Retribution, which you can see below.

In Resident Evil: Retribution, the Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. The featurette follows Alice through all the films, showing us the evolution of her character.

I have to say, I like all of the Resident Evil movies. Yes, they are dumb and don’t follow any discernible logic, but I like coming back to this world every few years. We all have our guilty pleasures.

That being said, the last one, Resident Evil: Afterlife, was easily the worst of the series and that dude with the sunglasses at the end was a blatant rip-off of The Matrix.

Nevertheless, I’ll be sitting in a theatre on the weekend of September 14th waiting to watch Milla Jovovich run around in leather killing zombies and other assorted monsters. I will, however, be skipping the 3D.
