‘Skyfall’ Posters Revealed

According to 007.com, four new posters were revealed today that will be seen in UK cinemas in the build-up to the release of SKYFALL. Bond, Severine, Silva and Eve can be seen together on this group shot and also get their own individual character posters.

“SKYFALL” stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, and Albert Finney.

The film is directed by Sam Mendes from a screenplay written by John Logan, Patrick Marber, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

In “SKYFALL,” Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Expect “SKYFALL” to make lots of money on November 09, 2012.

    Then why did you check them out?! Sheesh–it just a set of promo poster! At least they don’t have burning ashes all over it! The best Bond Poster was Moonraker all the others have been good to OK!

    The purpose of a movie poster is to increase anticipation for the film. Therefore, the good ones will capture the atmosphere the film intends to generate, and create a little mystery to pique our interest. A well executed poster is intregal to the marketing campaign for any film, as it is often the first revelation of its impending release for the general audience.

    Now, I am by no means a rabid internet hate monger, nor would I ever seek to fan those flames. But c’mon – the above image is about as exciting as the Sears catalog. It took no forethought or creativity to stick four glamour shots in front of a black and white logo. Instead of blindly defending it just because its attached to a popular franchise, why not refine your taste and learn to critique art based on its own merit? You may start to enjoy films and their related mediums on a deeper level.
    Yeah, that sounded snooty. It’s not meant to be. Why not demand better, I guess is what I’m saying. You get the idea, hopefully.
