Ender’s Game is set to hit theatres November 2, 2013 and Lionsgate just announced that it will debut the long awaited adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s novel in IMAX.
Lionsgate is happy with what they have so far and plans on making Ender’s Game the first in a franchise.
“There’s a lot of books,” Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said. “We’re excited about the franchise.” He’s referring to Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide and Children of the Mind, to name some of the books in the Ender series.
I read Ender’s Game years ago and loved it. I’ll have to pick it up and finish the series.

The cast includes Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Abigail Breslin and Asa Butterfield. Gavin Hood ( X-Men Origins: Wolverine) is directing from a script he wrote.
