“Paranorman” is set in the town of Blithe Hollow, which is solely known for its witch-hunt from 300 years ago. 11-Year-old Norman Babcock (Voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee) spends much of his days appreciating the finer points of scary movies and studying ghost lore. Norman is actually gifted with the ability to see and speak with the dead such as his beloved grandmother. At middle school Norman dodges bullying Alvin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and confides in his friend Neil (Tucker Albrizzi). But when contacted by his odd uncle Prenderghast about a centuries old witches curse, Norman must be able to stop it from going into overdrive and harming the townspeople.
I recently interview Kodi Smit-McPhee, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and the directors Sam Fell and Chris Butler, check out what they had to say.
ParaNorman opens August 17, 2012.
