I’m going to preface this by admitting that I’ve only ever seen one episode of Entourage, and that’s only because Artie Lange was in it. Other than that, I have no idea what the show is about. So if it seems like I don’t know what I’m talking about here, it’s because I don’t.
Deadline brings word that series creator Doug Ellin has finished the script for the Entourage movie. The story picks up six months after the end of the series, which had Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) as a “newly minted studio mogul.” But don’t worry, the script doesn’t focus solely on Gold.
From Ellin:
“There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that’s still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters.”
Nothing has been green lit, but Ellin and producer Mark Wahlberg are eager to get it going.
Are you looking forward to an Entourage movie?
Is the series worth checking out?
