‘RoboCop’ Promo Teaser Poster

Over the weekend we posted a look at the newly designed “Robocop” suit, (CLICK HERE) which I think and it looks like…and everyone is on the same page, is one of the worst suits they could have had.

The guys over at Cine 1, posted a promo poster from the film that shows the horrible new suit.

The remake stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, and Jay Baruchel.

“Robocop” is being directed by Jose Padilha from a screenplay written by Josh Zetumer, and Nick Schenk.

In “RoboCop,” the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

    Does it really have to be the same suit as the 80′s? (which going by the script, by the end of act 2, and the new and last suit has been put on, it resembles the 80′s alot more, but without the bulky sized chest piece. And yes it’s silver.) I for have become sick of remakes, (Fair enough, the guys have been getting a ton of cash for them) I don’t write them, and don’t want too. But some remakes have surprised me.
