Amy Adams (a very comic-booky, Lois Lane-sounding moniker) is jawing her way through the promotional tour for Clint Eastwood’s The Trouble with the Curve, and, as expected, journalists are setting their aims for anything Man of Steel related.
With only one trailer out, which excluded showing off Adams in the role of Superman’s right-hand woman, audiences are sort of itching to see how she fares as Miss Lane, intrepid reporter for the Daily Planet.
MTV News spoke with the actress, and here’s what she had to say:
Some of Adams’ choice words as transcribed from the interview:
“You feel like you’re in scenes with Superman. He [Henry Cavill] is completely invested and yoked and he just really took the role very seriously and yeah, he’s fantastic, he’s just so yum. He’s the nicest guy, aside from the face.”
On General Zod, played by character actor Michael Shannon:
“He’s fantastic. He’s terrifying. I only had a couple scenes with him.”
