New Trailer for ‘Promised Land’ with Matt Damon

Matt Damon is back with his Good Will Hunting director Gus Van Sant in Promised Land. You can see the new trailer below. The film also stars The Office‘s John Krasinki and Academy Award winner Frances McDormond.

Here’s the synopsis from MSN:

Two drilling representatives (Damon and McDormand) hit a snag when trying to coerce a town into selling the rights to their land when a concerned teacher (Hal Holbrook) stirs up a negative campaign led by Krasinski. Van Sant directs from a script by Damon and Krasinski from a story by Dave Eggers.

Promised Land hits theatres January 11, 2013.
