Lore – an IDW graphic novel about a secret order of monster fighters that battles all the mythological creatures of international lore — is being turned into a film by Warner Bros, and they’re looking at Barry Sonnenfeld (Men In Black trilogy) to helm.

Dwayne Johnson is already attached to star.

Lore was a huge spec sale earlier this year, and with it’s “no-duh, I should’ve thought of that’ concept, it’s no surprise it sold for such big numbers with a fast-tracked production schedule.

Since the project is described as being tonally similar to Men In Black, maybe Sonnenfeld is too obvious a choice to direct.
