Daniel Radcliffe is looking to take on another very well-known role. The Harry Potter actor is interested in playing the lead role of the Hunchback/Igor in Paul McGuigan’s Frankenstein.
McGuigan’s Frankenstein is based on a script written by Chronicle writer Max Landis. The movie will apparently have a sci-fi spin to Mary shelley’s classic tale.
The character of the Hunchback is being described as “pathologically dirty and dressed in old clowns clothing.” Is it just us or does the Hunchback sound a lot like Dobby?
The film is currently in the works at Fox. The studio is focusing on finalizing the script right now. Once that’s done, they’ll begin talks with actors.
According to Radcliffe’s IMDB page, he should be filming The F Word. He’s got three movies coming out next year including Kill Your Darlings, where Radcliffe plays Allen Ginsburg, and Horns, where he plays a character that grows some horns.
