Pixar’s Monsters University doesn’t come out until next summer, but the marketing onslaught is already peeking its head past the curtain, checking out the kiddies for future recruitment.
And in its first viral piece of marketing, they’re aiming a little older. Okay, a lot older.
At the link you will find a collegiate-looking website that tries to pass off as the official homepage of the actual Monsters University.
I can’t imagine a five-year-old exploring the website, understanding any of it, and getting excited about the film.
Seems like Disney/Pixar is aiming their scopes at adults in their late teens/early twenties who grew up on the original Monster’s Inc.
