Skyfall, the first James Bond film since 2008, was at the top of the box office this weekend with $87.8 million dollars. That makes it one of November’s highest opening weekends and the best domestic opening weekend for a James Bond film ever. Skyfall isn’t only doing great business the USA, worlwide it has already amassed over $500 million and looks to end up the highest grossing  Bond film everywhere.

Coming in at number two was last weekend’s winner, Wreck-It Ralph. The Disney, non-Pixar, CG animated toon dropped only 32.6% for sophomore weekend finish of $33 million. Ralph‘s domestic total is now a fantastic $93.6 million.

Flight, Roert Zemeckis’ triumphant return to live action film making, dropped 39.4% to number three this weekend with $15.1 million. That brings Flight to $47.7 million domestically, giving Denzel Washington his second hit of the year.

The number four spot goes to Argo, which fell 33.9% from last week for a total weekend take of $6.7 million. Argo‘s domestic total is now at $85.7 million and it still stands a decent chance of crossing the $100 million mark.

Liam Neeson’s action sequel Taken 2 maintained the fifth spot in the top ten this weekend with $4 million. That’s only a 32.4% drop from last week for a domestic total of $131.2 million.
