Michael Bay Talks ‘Transformers 4′ Timeline

Transformers 4 is scheduled to hit theatres June 27, 2014, about 3 years after 2011′s Transformers: Dark of the Moon. So, the question is: How much time will have passed in the film’s universe?

Thankfully Michael Bay has been kind enough to give us a definitive answer:

“The movie is going to continue four years from the attack on Chicago, which was in the last movie. It’s going to have the same lineage, but it’s going in a full new direction. It actually feels very natural how it’s going in that direction… We’re doing a lot of things that are really going to make it fresh and feel new.”

So the new film, which will apparently star our nation’s greatest acting treasure Mark Wahlberg, will be taking place in the far off future. I cant wait!

The truth is, I don’t hate on these films as much as a lot of people like to, and I am actually looking forward to another film in the franchise.

Cant really use the word “good” with the previous movies, but screw it all. As long as the movie has transformers in it, im throwing my wallet at it. Period.

Lets just be happy Michael Bay is being kept busy and wont have time to even think about touching star wars.
