Oh Joy! Here come all the young Fanboy Haters who publicly HATE all things “genre” because they think it makes them look cool and sound “tough”!
Blindly hating on everything on principal doesnt make you sound cool or edgy…it just makes you sound like an Asshat!
I can’t wait for this movie, i won’t say anything negative UNTIL THEY GIVE ME TANGIBLE REASONS TO HATE IT!
    thanks!

okay, i think it looks awesome, but… that last shot of what i assume is echoing the wrath of khan with kirk and spock on opposite sides of the glass… not sure their friendship is well established enough in this timeline to have the emotional impact that that scene in khan had. of course this is just one shot and i may be way out of context here. also, who knows what this movie will establish. i still wish we were getting a star trek movie in the tradition of the motion picture and the voyage home- where the plot turns on an obstacle/antagonist that is a mysterious and dangerous thing which requires more investigation and thought that punching and shooting to overcome (not that there can’t be any of that), but i guess i’m staying in the minority on this. like i said, looks great so far.
